We'll gather details about your desired procedure and if we’re a good match for your needs, we’ll work closely with our doctors to create a program package tailored just for you.

2: Review the proposed service package

Review your procedure package and quote. We take the time to answer any questions you might have to ensure that details aren’t missed and the proposed procedure is reflective of your needs and desires. At this stage, you are invited to have a video consultation with the practitioner if desired. Once it’s a go, our team sends you a confirmation of the finalized package that includes a detailed itinerary with step-by-step pre-operative instructions.

3: Let’s plan your travel and make it comfortable, convenient and worry-free

As part of our commitment to your well-being, we offer an optional service in partnership with WorldGo, a reputable travel agency, at no extra cost to you. With WorldGo's expertise, your travel planning process will be effortless with 24/7 support and free changes/cancellations. Whether you choose to arrive at your destination a few days early to unwind, explore, and prepare mentally for your treatment, or prefer arriving just in time for your procedure, WorldGo will tailor an ideal travel itinerary to meet your needs. Let us take care of the travel details so you can focus on your well-being.

Once you arrive at the destination country, our team members will meet you at the airport. We provide transfer services to and from the airport, hotel, and clinic, along with translation services for the duration of your stay at the clinic.

4: Immunization

We recommend proper immunization before undergoing a medical procedure. We have partnered with Virtual Medical Clinic, a reputable Canadian travel immunization clinic agency, where a personalized immunization program is conveniently managed online. These prescribed medications are then efficiently sent to your local doctor or pharmacy for timely easy administration. 

5: Medical travel insurance - peace of mind

While complications from the top-tier providers in our network are very rare, all surgeries carry a certain degree of risk. Most private and group insurance providers in Canada do not protect against any medical travel related claims. To address this, we've partnered with Simpson Group Insurance Services, a premier Canadian insurance company specializing in medical travel coverage for patients and their companions. SGIS provide comprehensive medical procedure complication coverage, travel related incident protection, as well as post-operative care for up to six months upon returning home. 6: The procedure, before and after care

Upon arrival at the medical facility, essential blood work and relevant testing will be performed. Payment of the outstanding balance is required before the procedure begins. If you are medically cleared for the procedure, the clinician or the doctor will proceed with the service. All the procedures performed by the surgeons within our network are done at the hospitals with ICU on premises.

Here is what happens after the procedure:

  • You receive a thorough post-op care plan tailored uniquely to you. Details such as wound care, follow-up frequency, recovery duration, and travel guidelines will be designed based on your specific procedure.

  • You receive a detailed discharge summary with all the documents related to the performed procedure from bloodwork to  the type of the procedure performed and medication prescribed to ensure the smooth transition and continuation of care upon your return home.

  • A series of virtual follow-up appointments will be arranged between you and the doctor who performed your procedure. These appointments are designed to monitor your healing progress and ensure your satisfaction with the results.

  • Our international patient care facilitation team will be available to you by phone, email, or video conference from the moment you decide to embark on this journey with us and up to a 1-year mark after your procedure to ensure ongoing support.
